As a strategist and a dedicated healthcare expert, Ron has helped shape the course of technology. At Onix, Ron continues to lead the effort by representing technology transformation, modernization, application, and governance. Below are a few of Mr. Rerko’s accolades and achievements including working with Michael Gorton (co-founder of Teladoc).

  • Recuro Health - Developed and designed member platforms for medical insurance companies and employee benefits providers.
  • Cleveland Clinic Genomic Medicine Institute under the chair, Charis Eng, MD, PhD, and helped found and develop the Institute.
  • Howard Hughes Medical Institute - Ron was a researcher with Dr. Sandy Markowitz, principal investigator.
  • Ron was the first to identify the loss of 15-prostaglandin dehydrogenase, a novel tumor suppressor gene, leading to the development of gastrointestinal cancers.
