Onix has recently been recognized for multiple honors with leading tech industry publications for its excellence in cloud consulting services and its culture as a tech industry employer. The honors were awarded by publishers TechTimes and TMC.

Onix received three nods from TMC over the past few months. TMC’s Cloud Computing magazine awarded the company with a 2020 Cloud Computing Excellence Award, which recognizes vendors that have most effectively leveraged cloud computing in their efforts to bring new, differentiated services and solutions to market.

“We continue to see remarkable progress and innovation in the cloud computing industry within the past 12 months, making this a very competitive process,” said TMC CEO Rich Tehrani in a prepared statement. “It’s our pleasure to recognize such impressive contributions that have been proven to resonate in the cloud marketplace.”

In May, TMC announced it had awarded Onix with an “A” rating in its Tech Culture Awards program for the 2019 calendar year. According to TMC, judges surveyed and selected companies that are “looking for the best and brightest tech talent and are willing to go the extra mile to provide what they believe is the ideal tech culture.” Onix was one of seven recipients of this honor.

Another TMC publication, Analytics Insight also awarded Onix’s Sunnie Southern, the company’s Vice President, Health & Life Sciences, as one of the 10 Most Influential Women in Technology for 2020. TMC recognized Southern’s leadership in guiding Onix in creating and launching four vertically focused solutions to solve pressing healthcare challenges in interoperability, population health and remote healthcare work.

As the award announcement notes, “These female tech leaders have become the face of change in the industry, trying to rule out sexism from within and encouraging higher visibility and responsibility for everyone. Such prominent and powerful women innovators continue to build and invest in future technologies and have set an example for others.”

Onix also recently earned the No. 1 spot in the Top 5 Best Cloud Consulting Services in 2020, published by TechTimes. The list is an annual feature from the publication, which reports go-to news on the latest technology developments.

According to the publication, list participants are selected from the results of surveys of “clients and users worldwide.” Onix caught the publication’s eye because of its longtime history in the tech space and its strong partnerships with cloud service providers Google and AWS.

TechTimes recognized Onix for the variety and depth of services it delivers to its customer base. This includes cloud strategy and migration, Google Workspace deployment and change management, enterprise search, location-based services and Google Maps Platform, managed services programs and data analytics.

Onix has enjoyed a dynamic history in the tech space, evolving continuously since first launching in 1992. The company strives to not just meet, but exceed, customer needs by simplifying the cloud computing journey, from planning and deployment to ongoing customer support through managed services programs. It also has a dedicated Health and Life Sciences division, which Southern leads.

“We are honored to be recognized by TMC, Cloud Computing, Analytics Insight and TechTimes as the leader in the cloud computing sector for both our customers and our internal teams,” said Tony Bianco, Onix President of Cloud Services. “We consistently ensure our customers have access to the broadest range of cloud solutions, services and support and that our employees enjoy an exciting tech career that delivers work-life balance and room to learn and grow in a team-focused environment.”
