Hunter Lynne, Cloud Adoption Practice Leader, is our latest guest. We’re happy to share more about what he does at Onix and how he helps our customers.
What is Your Role at Onix?
I develop and promote solutions and standards that improve the technology journey for our customers — and transform how they work — while creating a predictable environment for Onix’s internal teams to deliver solutions that help our customers succeed in the cloud.
Specifically, my roles and responsibilities include building go-to-market solutions for cloud adoption, developing templates to streamline technology delivery, sales and SA training, creating new solution offerings and meeting with customers about best practices for adopting the cloud.
What Makes You Excited to Come to Work Each Day?
At Onix, we don't just solve technology problems - we solve business problems. And the bigger the problem, the more fun we have solving it.
We like taking a hard look at the customer issue and then rely on lots of years of experience in both consulting and non-consulting roles to help the customer improve their business and achieve their objectives using the cloud. This customer success is what motivates me every day.
Tell Us About Your Favorite Project.
This particular project involved a large, private company that had about 20 Amazon Web Services (AWS) accounts. They needed help with governance and security. We were able to build a roadmap that laid out the business, governance and technology steps to improve compliance in the cloud. With our assistance, they successfully secured and protected their data.
What Do You Like to Do Outside of Work?
Before I had kids, and when they were younger, I used to surf and play golf. But now that they are older, they’ve distracted me from those activities.
Now my free time is spent volunteering, working in my yard and going to church.
