Cleveland AWS Meetup Spurs Cloud Infrastructure Dialogue

Posted by Mary Stallman, Channel Manager on Oct 9, 2018

AWS Meetup RecapThe Cleveland IT world is abuzz about Amazon Web Services and Onix making their mark in Northeast Ohio. If you missed our first Cleveland AWS Meetup event last month, here’s the scoop about how AWS cloud infrastructure is changing the game.

As an AWS Standard Consulting and Public Sector partner, we at Onix set out to start the AWS conversation across the greater Cleveland area. That’s why we launched the only Cleveland AWS Meetup group for local IT pros.

What's the Scoop on the Cleveland AWS Meetup Group?

We wanted to give you a lively forum to explore and discuss the power of AWS with experts and like-minded folks who work with their heads in the cloud. We kicked things off with a well-attended Meetup event on Sept. 26 at Lockkeepers in Valley View.

AWS Solutions Architect Kevin Oleniczak covered AWS 101, providing an eye-opening perspective about how easy it is to make the leap and elevate your organization to the cloud with AWS. He detailed all of the hot topics; security, best practices and what to expect from a cloud migration.

Participants then asked their cloud questions, leading to some thought-provoking dialogue on all things AWS and how its infrastructure transforms organizations.

This first Meetup is just the beginning of the important cloud infrastructure conversation in Northeast Ohio. We plan to keep these discussions thriving with more Cleveland AWS Meetups where you’ll come away with new knowledge and personal connections.
