LineGuard 9000 Remote Port Monitor
The LineGuard 9000 Remote
Port Manager is a software application that runs on a Windows™ platform
PC and utilizes the CryptoCom 2000 to establish secure communications
with remote equipment. The LG9000 is a combination device database
and terminal program (similar to Hyperterminal) that automatically
establishes secure console communications with remote equipment
(i.e. routers, firewalls, serial RS-232C devices, etc.).
With the selection of the remote device from the database and
a single click of the connect button, the CryptoCom 2000 connects
securely and initiates remote terminal communications. These
remote terminal communications emulate the same functionality
of a terminal directly connected to the configuration port of
the device (i.e. 9600, N, 8, 1).
The Database of the LineGuard 9000 can store up to 10,000 devices,
is secured with encryption and authentication and can be imported/exported
for multiple users. LG9000 also features backup and restore functions,
user lockout and configuration utilities for the CryptoCom 2000.
