All our products are designed to work in zone cabling as well as typical LAN installations. We recommend zone cabling solutions using fiber cable to the work area or classroom to reduce infrastructure costs and provide easy upgrades to higher bandwidths.

Waters' ProSwitch® Ethernet wiring closet switches include the FixPort series (fixed number of UTP ports) and FlexPort series (modular chassis allowing combinations of UTP and fiber ports). Waters' ProMedia™ Ethernet media converters provides an easy economical upgrade from UTP to fiber. Single port models are available for multimode and singlemode fiber.
