The Alcatel - Lucent 9600 LSY long-haul digital radio links are microwave products optimized for high-capacity long haul configurations. Natural complements to optical fiber transmission, they can be used both in SDH and PDH environments in which microwave is preferred.

They support a full range of frequency band, from 4 GHz up to 13 GHz, including the new 10 GHz band. The Alcatel - Lucent 9600 LSY family is characterized by a full indoor structure with very compact size. In particular, the new 9600 LSY "Compact" version is the Alcatel - Lucent's answer to the market demand of compact and low-cost systems with a limited number of radio channels. Fully integrated with the Alcatel - Lucent global network management platform, the Alcatel - Lucent 9600 LSY family represents the evolution of the previous 9600 LH series. Smaller and more power-efficient, it supports STM-1/STM-0 traffic and offers a wide range of configurations as well as regenerator or wireless multi-service node functions.
