Alcatel - Lucent focuses on securing the network infrastructure
(switches, routers, and gateways) and end systems (workstations,
servers, and printers) making communications possible. Security
is also provided between each network layer allowing organizations
to create multiple layers of defense around important assets
and leverage multiple security technologies to protect against
pre-defined threats.Alcatel - Lucent offers authentication, access control,
firewall, and secure management services. The complementary,
integrated security product suite delivers high levels of security
at high data rates. The security solutions are grouped under
a security framework called CrystalSec.
Alcatel - Lucent CrystalSec is
the security framework and architecture for the Alcatel - Lucent e-Business
Networking Division’s networking devices. Security is a
fundamental design element of all eND products. The CrystalSec
framework consists of five elements:
